South West Queensland Pipeline Expansion (QSN 3) The QSN 3 Project incorporates the looping construction of the 937 km, 450 mm diameter SWQP, which runs between Wallumbilla in South East Queensland and Moomba in South Australia, and the QSN Link Pipeline

Bonaparte Gas Pipeline BlueScope Steel supplied approximately 18,500 tonnes of hot rolled coil to Orrcon Steel's Unanderra pipe mill for conversion into 323mm diameter API 5L X70 grade pipe.

QSN Link Gas Pipeline The QSN Link gas pipeline incorporates 17,000 tonnes of BlueScope Steel's special API grade pipeline steel and is helping transport natural gas – on behalf of its owner, Epic Energy – from vast Queensland reserves to homes and businesses in South Australia and New South Wales.

Roma Looping X80 Pipeline The ongoing drive to lower the cost of pipeline construction has led to the development of higher strength pipeline steels. The use of higher strength pipeline material has the potential to reduce the total steel tonnage required for a pipeline project.

Tasmania Natural Gas Pipelines The ever increasing demand for energy by Tasmanian industrial, residential and commercial consumers led to the development and construction of the Tasmania Natural Gas Pipeline.

Eastern Gas Pipeline BlueScope Steel supplied 27,692 tonnes of steel for conversion into API 5L X70 strength pipe for use in the Eastern Gas project. The key attribute of the steel supplied was its excellent product consistency, benefiting both the pipe maker and the onsite construction team.
